Working so hard lately. This is the busiest I’ve ever been (even counting the time I was a lawyer!) and it’ll stay this way until at least March 2025. YIKES. And yes, I’m building in pockets of me-time (meditation, gym, reading etc)

The contract for my New Big Thing (my first middle grade series!) has landed in my inbox! 😮🎉 Second contract in two weeks too. Lucky I have some pistachio and rose cake from my mum’s birthday left over to mark the moment.

Snuck away to the spa for some treatments while I was in India. Always a great experience being PUMMELLED by the (supremely skilled) technician during the abhyanga massage and being told that I’m the stiffest, most knotted person she’s me

This hotel is truly beautiful. Iconic. Incredible service. Amazing location. It’s the final stretch of this whirlwind India trip so I’m soaking it all in. After this, I’m fully head down and writing up an absolute storm.

Quick visit to Kitab Khana, an independent bookshop in Mumbai! And I found the Faber Book of Bedtime Stories there! Plus some books by lovely author and illustrator friends:
